Whitney is passionate about helping others find healing after trauma. She primarily works with individuals who have experienced any type of traumatic stress with a focus on early/developmental trauma. She diligently pursues specialized training in order to better serve clients who are dealing with the complexity of symptoms of traumatic stress. In 2018, she completed the Somatic Experiencing training, a three-year training program based on the work of Dr. Peter Levine. Over the past two years, Whitney’s focus has shifted primarily to the utilization of neurofeedback in the treatment of trauma. Research over the past 40+ years has found that neurofeedback training as a part of the therapy process can often help people meet their goals faster than talk therapy alone.
